MITAA celebrated the Founder’s Day along with Institute Day and Alumni Day on 18^th March 2011

• • Mr R Balaji, MITAA President welcome the dignitaries and all the members of audience that included Alumni, staff members and students of MIT
  • Presidential address was given by Dr. P. Mannar jawahar – Vice Chancellor of Anna University in his usual soul capturing way
  • Mr. L. Shankar, MD Technip India gave the keynote address.
  • Dr. Shanmugavel, Registrar Anna University, an Alumnus of 27^th Batch, who was honoured as the Outstanding Alumnus gave the Rajam memorial lecture
  • Dean Mr. Joseph Stanley , Mr. V. Balasubramanian Founder’s family gave the felicitation address
  • MITAA Patron Mr. T.M. Jawaharlal and Mr. S. Rajagopalan, Mr. Ramachandram, Mr. V. Mathiyazhagan spoke on the occasion
  • All Past Directors and Past Deans of MIT were honoured in the event for their yeomen service
  • Top performers of the students were awarded with prizes
  • Retiring staff were also honoured
  • Highlight of the evening was the inauguration of the Museum and photo gallery in the campus by the Vice Chancellor
